BiTMICRO NETWORKS and Targa Electronics Systems Team-Up in Advancing the State-of-the-Art Mass Memory Storage Solutions to Military and Aerospace Markets

BiTMICRO NETWORKS, Inc., a pioneer in intelligent storage, and Targa Electronics Systems, Inc., a leader in providing ruggedized data storage solutions to the military and aerospace markets, have joined hands in the integration of BiTMICRO's E-Disk technology into Targa's ruggedized data storage product line.

Targa products that include VME25 6U Flash Disk, the Series 3 Fixed/Removable DTU and the THPS removable flash disks, carriers and holders now incorporate BiTMICRO' E-Disk technology.

Targa's VME25 6U SCSI Flash Disk provides the ideal ruggedized solution in a single VME bus slot. It is available in both convection-cooled and conduction-cooled versions. The VME25 incorporates all the features of the BiTMICRO E-disk into a single slot VME board. It is ideal for harsh and rugged applications where nonvolatile mass memory is required to store theater mission data, boot-up programs, area maps, video imagery or data collection.

The Series 3 Fixed/Removable DTU combined a 2.5" BiTMICRO E-Disk with a removable PCMCIA Flash Memory Card in one compact form factor. It is available in both Panel-mount and Internal-mount versions.
