Targa POD mounted DTU surpasses 20,000 sorties, FAULT FREE

Targa's Series 2 POD-mounted Data Transfer Unit has now flown over 20,000 sorties without a single product failure.

The Series 2 features a rugged, removable data cartridge and is part of an Air Combat Training POD used on a variety of F-15 and F-16 Air Combat Training Systems.

Pilot Air Combat Training performance data is recorded onto the data cartridge, which is removed from the POD after the flight and inserted into the Targa Ground Station Unit for immediate upload and analysis.

The POD systems have been deployed at a variety of Air Force Bases since 1996.
