Targa Series 3 CDR selected for Sea King Helicopter Electronics Upgrade

Racal Defence Electronics Limited, UK, has selected Targa Electronics' Series 3 Compact Data Recorder as part of the Sea King AEW Radar System/Mission System Upgrade. The Targa Series 3 CDR will be modified to meet the specific needs of Racal Defence Electronics in this program.

Racal is the Prime Contractor for the Searchwater 2000AEW Radar and Mission System Upgrade for the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defence (MOD) Procurement Executive Sea King Mark 2 Airborne Early Warning (AEW) Radar System Upgrade/Mission System Upgrade Program

Targa Systems will be supplying a complete data transfer system, comprised of a Sea King onboard Data Loader, PC Cards and associated ground unit for data preparation/retrieval.
