Targa Systems Introduces 6U VME SCSI Flash Mass Storage Board: 15 GB in Conduction-Cooled Single Slot

Targa Systems Division of L-3 Communications, accelerating its leadership in providing solid-state data storage solutions for military & aerospace applications, today introduced the 15GB conduction-cooled VME25 SCSI Flash Disk.

To meet the increasing military and aerospace demands for high capacity, extremely reliable and superior performance in VME applications, Targa offers the board in both Fast SCSI and Ultra SCSI versions, with data transfer rates to 18 Mbytes/second.

Write protect and high-speed erase are standard features of this high performance mass storage board.

Targa's VME25 Solid State SCSI Flash Disk has been specifically designed to replace hard disk drives in rugged and environmentally demanding applications.

The VME25 board, available in both single slot (up to 15GB) and dual slot (up to 45 GB) versions can be provided in both convection cooled and conduction cooled versions.
