CompactPCI Mass Storage Board:
Targa introduces Conduction- Cooled SCSI Flash Disk!

Targa Systems Division of L-3 Communications, accelerating its leadership in providing solid-state data storage solutions for military & aerospace applications, today introduced the CPCI25 CompactPCI SCSI Flash Disk, in both 3U and 6U configurations.

To meet the increasing military and aerospace demands for high capacity, extremely reliable and superior performance, Targa offers the board in both Fast SCSI and Ultra SCSI versions, with data transfer rates to 18 Mbytes/second.

Write protect and high-speed erase are standard features of this high performance mass storage board.

Targa's CPCI Solid State SCSI Flash Disk has been specifically designed to replace hard disk drives in rugged and environmentally demanding applications.

The 6U CPCI board, available in both single slot (up to 15GB) and dual slot (up to 45 GB) versions can be provided in both convection cooled and conduction cooled versions. Additionally, a 3U version is available with up to 5GB in a single slot configuration or 10GB in a dual slot.
